HUGGLE

Dedicated to my childhood “best friend” — a beloved quilt that brought me comfort and joy growing up. Recreating it became a personal journey of reconnecting with my identity through material and memory. The quilt had been with me since birth, even older than me, passed down from my parents’ wedding. I hugged it, hid in it, and shared countless moments with it. It was more than a blanket — it was my companion. When I went overseas at 16, my parents threw it away without telling me. Returning home and discovering its absence broke my heart and I felt like I had lost a part of myself. Now I remade the quilt in my own way, I can finally sleep peacefully with it beside me again.
